The participant is responsible for arranging and paying for his/her travel to the destination country. This includes airfare and/or other transportation costs to and from the destination country as well as all local transportation costs.
It is the participant’s responsibility to carry the necessary documents when traveling internationally (e.g. valid passport). Language Corps may advise the participant on required travel documents, but Language Corps is not responsible for ensuring the participant’s travel documents are in proper order to travel. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their travel documents are up to date and valid for their planned travel.
Language Corps does not provide participants with insurance of any kind. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for each participant and participants should purchase this prior to departing on their trip. The participant is responsible for evaluating and determining the kind of insurance coverage he/she should have.
If Language Corps or the Service Provider cancels the Program for any reason, the participant is entitled to a full refund.
Payment of a deposit ($500) confirms a participants acceptance onto one of Language Corps’ programs. Deposits are not transferable to other persons.
If the participant pays a deposit for a program, deposits are non-refundable. However, the date of the Program may be changed for up to 1 year at no charge.
If the participant pays in-full and receives a discount when doing so, the payment is non-refundable. However, the date of the Program may be changed for up to 1 year at no charge.
If the participant pays in full and does NOT receive a discount when doing so, Language Corps will issue a full refund for all cancellations made at least 30 days before the Program start date. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the Program start date will be charged a $500 cancellation fee.

The final balance of the program fee is due no later than sixty days prior to the beginning of the program.
Language Corps reserves the right to review and change its Refund Policy at any time. Any changes to the Refund Policy without notice.
The participant acknowledges and accepts the responsibilities and risks that international travel and international work/study programs include. These risks increase because many of Language Corps’ programs take place in developing countries. The participant fully and solely accepts these risks as an inherent part of their planned travel.
