I stumbled across this photo a while back, and thought it made for some excellent food for thought.
It is beautiful in it’s simplicity, and yet if put into action, I think this really is some of the best advice I’ve ever seen for cultivating change.
Because changing the world starts from within. It starts with attitude and perception, followed closely by action. No matter how big or small, getting started is half the battle.
I believe many of these principles apply to Teaching English Abroad. It’s easy to get caught up in the day to day of teaching, but it’s important to take some time to remember that you are making a huge difference in people’s lives.
So take some time this year to reflect on how you can change yourself, and in turn your surroundings, for the better.
