Perfect for working professionals or full time students who are unable to commit to an onsite course, our online Certification allows you to log in and go to class whenever you please, proceeding at your own pace. And best of all, you can earn your online TEFL certificate from the comfort of your own home or your favorite café, yet still feel fully prepared when you step in front of an eager class of learners.

Training & Certification

LanguageCorps’ Online TEFL Certification program includes 130 hours of course work that is completed over a 9-week schedule. Throughout the Program you complete reading and writing assignments, take quizzes, and contribute to lively interactive discussions. The course is specifically designed for the ESL classroom, and focuses on teaching theories and techniques that will enable you to succeed. All of our online courses are led by University-level professors who hold either a Masters or PhD and have 10+ years of experience in the field. And with class sizes limited to 25 participants, you can rest assured that you'll receive plenty of individual attention.

In addition to 130 hours of course work, all participants must complete 20 hours of teaching practice and observation in a location that is convenient for them. This portion is done individually, and to make it even more convenient, you can make arrangements with any local ESL class. Usually finding a class to observe or teach in is a quick and easy process, but our staff is standing by to assist if needed.

The Online TEFL Certification Program Fee is US$1,200.

All course materials are included and provided online for the duration of the Program (with continued access for 6 months after graduation). If you prefer, you may purchase hard or digital copies of the course materials that are yours to keep, for an additional $125.
